Woven Rattan Ball

A hand-woven decorative ball from the Showa period, made from tightly interlaced rattan strips. The overlapping weave creates a strong geometric surface while keeping the object light and sculptural.
 
These are older pieces and may show signs of age, scratches, surface marks or use consistent with their history.
