Wooden Sacred Horse

An antique Japanese wooden sacred horse associated with Hakusan Shrine. Carved from wood with a simple geometric silhouette, the horse features a purple braided cord and aged paper shide, traditionally used in Shinto rituals. Bearing the inscription 白山宮 (Hakusan Shrine), this piece reflects the longstanding tradition of offering symbolic horses to shrines as expressions of prayer and devotion.

These are older pieces and may show signs of age, scratches, surface marks or use consistent with their history.
