Vintage Issey Miyake Necktie #5

For this collection, we selected some of our favorite Issey Miyake neckties from across Japan, dating from the early 1980s to the early 2000s. These neckties embody the essence of Miyake’s design philosophy, which emphasized simplicity, functionality, and an innovative use of fabric.
 
The ties often feature distinctive textures, rich color blocking, and geometric patterns, with some incorporating pleating, a technique for which Miyake is widely recognized.
 
The IM monogram, presented in a bold minimalist font, reflects his belief that simplicity is a form of sophistication.
