This month, exclusively at Galerie 21, Yuthanan takes you on a journey into the art of Daisuke Anayama and his iconic Darumas. Each piece is uniquely crafted by hand in the artist's studio in Seto, Aichi, following its distinct process.

"The landscapes of my childhood—mountains, rivers, and stones—are deeply embedded in my heart as an artist. Through ceramics, I’ve come to understand how an object can carry and evoke a sense of "scenery." In this Daruma, I weave natural elements together, allowing it to go beyond mere form and inviting viewers to connect with a profound, almost mystical landscape that extends beyond the piece itself".
