Hokkaido Kumabokko Bears

A pair of vintage wooden bears from Hokkaido, Japan. Known as Kumabokko, these traditional folk toys feature rounded silhouettes, small painted faces and distinctive concentric wood grain patterns. Presented in two different sizes with their original box, the figures reflect the playful character of Japanese regional craftsmanship.
