Hakone Yosegi Tray

A square tray crafted using the traditional techniques of Hakone Yosegi-zaiku, a Japanese woodworking practice celebrated for its intricate geometric marquetry. The surface features an elegant Ichimatsu checkerboard pattern composed of naturally colored woods, meticulously assembled to create rhythm, depth, and optical movement.
