Artifacts is a creative project that reinterprets overlooked Japanese ceramics from the Showa era. Sourced across Japan, each historic piece is carefully reworked with iconic logos to bring it back into focus and spark a renewed appreciation for its craftsmanship. Rather than buying new, the project invites you to invest in history, reimagined through a contemporary sensibility.
 
The use of logos is inspired by a 1950s Sony marketing campaign where branded tea sets were gifted to customers.
 
The piece is freehand painted and finished with a coating.

Every piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
